The IELTS test is designed to help you use English in your new life abroad. In less than three hours, it will assess all of your English skills: listening, reading, writing and speaking.

The IELTS test for UK visa purposes meets certain administrative requirements that are specified by UK Visas and Immigration. The Test Report Forms will be slightly different to show that test takers have taken the test at an IELTS UK visa session. The actual test is the same in terms of format, level of difficulty, content, scoring.

The most effective way of testing your English conversation skills is face-to-face. IELTS is the most widely accepted English language test with a one-on-one speaking test to assess your English language communication skills.

So if you need to prove your level of English skills as part of your visa application, IELTS for UK Visas and Immigration is the right test for you.
