We are excited to announce the launch of the Youth Connect Alumni Network MENA (MENA Youth CAN ) for youth and local partners of Youth Connect MENA programmes.

What is Youth CAN MENA? 

Youth CAN MENA is a growing regional community for alumni and partners to stay connected, share ideas, and continue their journey as changemakers. Built on the values of collaboration, respect and inclusion, the network supports meaningful dialogue and action across borders. 

Whether you’re looking to develop your skills, build new partnerships or stay involved in shaping positive change, this is your space. 

Who Can Join? 

 You’re eligible to join if you are: 

  • A graduate of the Youth Connect programme, or 
  • Aged 20–40 and have completed a British Council youth or civil society programme between 2010 and 2024 (including Tahawer, Kashaf, Young Arab Voices, Young Mediterranean Voices, Women in Public Life, Active Citizens and others).

How the Network Works 

British Council–Curated Network 
Offers structured engagement, including training, learning spaces, and formal knowledge sharing. Active participants will receive certificates and updates on upcoming events and initiatives. 

PeerLed Forum 
Members can co-create their own informal space, run by alumni, for alumni, to exchange ideas, collaborate and connect freely.
