The Artist
Ahmad Naffori is a talented painter, composer and performer on the oud and guitar, based in Lebanon. Solo exhibitions of his paintings have taken place in Moscow, Beirut and Paris. He is part of an active and popular band called Saalek in Beirut.
The Work
This video experiments with the combination of abstract paintings in a physical exhibition, The Violence of Colours, in Beirut, accompanied by music. It mixes the senses of sight and hearing in order for the artists to share his experience and feelings with his audience.
